SteelBreaker 3D
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
Take aim and eliminate a detachment of autonomous combat bots that have reactivated long after their war has ended.
Go directly down the hallway after spawn.
A short, minimalist FPS hearkening back to the 32-bit PC era.
There's an easier difficulty option in the pause menu, if you're having trouble completing the game on normal. It reduces the amount of damage you take and increase the amount of damage you do.
Apologies for not having a web build, the Jolt physics plugin for Godot doesn't support HTML5.
Controls:
Mouse 1 to fire.
E to interact.
Space to jump, hit space again in the air to dash.
Esc to pause.
Known bugs:
In the first battle section, if you approach the force-field you can trigger the checkpoint mechanic before the correct door to the second battle section opens, hard locking you. Restarting the game is required.

The Style is lovely, gameplay’s controls are uncritiquable, audio work is good, it's a very fun game I'd love to see more of.
It seems to have the (very) common Godot issue of instancing, particularly that everything freezes once it's instanced its first time, so basically just maybe pre-instance, not sure.
At the 2nd (then 4th) room, there's a lot of lag that makes the game near unplayable, don't know where it's coming from but it seems to decrease with the amount of robots that exist...not sure why.
There are gameplay issues in the game, but they're pretty minor and can get roughly narrowed down to my own skill issues.
Pretty deserved 4.8/5, if you come across this and have a better computer than I do, or it's been updated to patch this, play it! it's fun!
Best of luck, stay euphoric, cheers!
